It’s 1958, and time is running out. Shirley only has two weeks left before her second summer in Willowdale comes to an end. What can possibly happen in two weeks? The teenager soon discovers the answer is - just about everything. After her grandmother and Aunt Maude move into their new home, Shirley searches for something to keep herself busy. She doesn’t have to look very far. All around the small town, her friends struggle with life-changing decisions. She can’t resist the temptation to help them find the answers - whether they want her help or not. While Shirley helps her friends, she faces a complication of her own. Her friendship with Jim turns into something more than just friendship. Will she allow her affection for him to influence her plans for the future? Or will she listen to her grandmother’s advice?
