Worship and Wonder: Faith-Filled Devotions

In God’s Presence we worship and wonder and find rest for our weary souls; our anxious hearts are calmed and our worried minds find peace. The posture of worship and the heart of wonder go joyfully hand-in-hand; they are lovingly intertwined and perfectly bound together. The word worship signifies an attitude of reverence, adoration, devotion, praise, and honor. Our worship of God flows effortlessly from a place of awestruck wonder. Our worship and wonder are in response to the Lord’s holy majesty. Throughout this devotional, you and I will meditate on God’s Word and find comfort in His lavish love. We will be overcome with wonder at His awesome holiness and power. We will be humbled before Him in reverent praise and worship. We will be greatly encouraged by the hope we have in our mighty God.
