A boring assignment brings Atlanta TV reporter Bridget Primavera face to face with the Cailleach – the primeval Celtic spirit of the killing frost, the destroyer-witch of legends older than memory – and Bridget’s world changes forever.

In an instant, she is awakened to her own role and responsibility as the ancient, balancing spirit of Brighid, teacher of poets and physicians, guardian of the hearth, and warrior of the Tuatha De Danann. Of course, with her unique skill set on camera and as a warrior goddess, a reality show is not far behind.
