Broken.

It’s the only word Sophie Kingston can think of to describe herself. Having endured the loss of those closest to her, life can’t get much worse. It’s not that Sophie doesn’t want to move on, it’s that she can’t seem to figure out how.

When her best friend suggests a vacation to get away from it all, Sophie agrees to spend a little time in the sun. But her relaxing getaway takes a dark turn as she finds herself in any girl’s worst nightmare. Taken by a nameless man in a foreign country, Sophie is forced into a terrifying new world where women are sold as personal sex slaves.

Adrien isn’t the type to show mercy on the girls he kidnaps, his propensity for compassion long ago overshadowed by the darkness inside him. But Sophie is different–broken, even before he took her. He knows he’ll never be able to sell her unless he can somehow put her back together again.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. As Sophie begins to heal from her troubled past at the hands of her captor, something begins to shift in Adrien as well. When both of their carefully-erected walls start to crumble, it becomes hard to fight the attraction between them. But is it enough to stop the wheels of fate that are already in motion?
