An unknown past pursues Ana Winchester. She grew up with deep love from her mother, but pain and harshness were also part of her family experience. Then life presents her the opportunity to move forward, leave the past behind. She accepts a job and moves to Germany, where her mother originated. Unfortunately, World War II ghosts soon follow, and she becomes the target of unknown evil. This story begins in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where Ana was born and grew up, then moves across the Atlantic to Germany. The beauty and geography of Germany provides the background for historic events related to the dangerous old mystery that she’s trapped in, and the faceless murderous criminals who track her every movement. Nature, harmony, and friendship help her fight against the violent past. Complex and emotional, Ana must walk down the path of lies that leads back into her family history.
