Having been blamed for anything detrimental that happened to Detroit throughout its history, by those whose motives are nefarious at best, the Nain Rouge has only started to reclaim his stature as a protagonist for Detroit. His photography work is in the collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts. He has been recognised for his work in the New York Times Magazine and Detour magazine among other publications and he created the iconic styling of the web-based magazine, Model D.
