Sam is a little boy who lives on a farm. He loves cows, horses, and chickens. But they are tame compared to his painted wooden animals. Lions, tigers, elephants, apes, and more! But Sam has to leave his family. He is taken to live in a special home for sick children. Sam cannot take his toy animals. So he hides them. High in a secret nook in the barn. But after Sam leaves, one by one the animals wake up. Where are they? What will they do?
