When animal communicator Elizabeth Murphy and her cats rescue an abandoned kitten, they feel they’re doing a good deed. When the kitten behaves more like a human, well, more like a supernatural being, things get complicated. Elizabeth feels her long awaited pregnancy is enough for her and her firefighter husband to contend with, but along with strange goings on with the kitten in its own little world, their employee and friend becomes embroiled in criminal doings to earn a little extra cash. Complicating the situation, she can’t tell anyone about the strange behavior of the kitten.
