Based on real experiences from author Vivian McDermott’s own life with an undiagnosed degenerative eye disease, Adventures of a VIP tells of one Montanan woman’s struggle to navigate the physical world-both before and after she’s diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa at age fifty-six.
