Binky was a simple man who owned his piece of paradise located in the Gore Range Central Mountains of Colorado. His family trust fund from the seventies had diminished over the years. What with the cost of living increasing all the time, he found himself needing funds for his retirement. Hell, selling one old mining claim should have been simple. Lot 36 was far enough away from Binky’s cabin that the purchase would not intrude upon his lifestyle, or so he thought. He had hidden himself away in the mountains for so many years that one could call him naive. Binky was a smart man, but his self imposed isolation did have a tendency to restrict his understanding of the evils that lurked in society. The present day scams were just waiting for someone like him with secrets buried in his past. When he realized that selling might have been a mistake, Binky turned to one of his trusted friends, Bix Bixler. She wasn’t afraid to investigate any type of environmental injustice. Shortly after comprehending Binky’s problem, Bix and Bernie, found themselves in need of professional help. They enlisted the familiar characters of the Colorado Mountain Mystery Caper Series into Binky’s dilemma. Short handed because of wildfires, the Summit group found themselves buried in an international scheme. Murder and technological warfare, loomed on their horizon. Out numbered and terrified, the Summit locals hired a computer guru to even the score. Balancing the age old mountain tracking techniques with computer savvy became their assault weapon. Besides, how complicated could this resource heist be; how could a simple bottle of water become so dangerous?
