RV camping in Buena Vista, Colorado, should have been a quiet escape for Bix; instead, it became a vortex of fracking disputes, sibling rivalry and murder. As fate would have it, Bix’s trailer site was smack-dab in the middle of the Holden family reunion from North Dakota. She soon learned that the Holdens were enmeshed in a controversy between fracking and environmental preservation; a dilemma that stalked the family moving them ever closer to inevitable murder. No one could have guessed that the family dispute over mineral rights was a financial scheme involving both Colorado and North Dakota.
