Modern day Inquisitor Kensington Ashe can communicate with La Parca, reapers who announce the arrival of souls into the afterlife. He channels his gift and unending rage to purge blood witches called guajona and gargola from the city of Tierra Santa. Homicide Detective Natalie Lacruz will break the law to protect Tierra Santa from anyone she percieves to be a monster. Ken uncovers a ruthless conflict between two covens when he is hired to protect Roxana, a fifteen year-old girl with witch DNA. A mysterious guajona kidnaps Roxana and Ken enlists Lacruz’s help to recover the girl. Ken and Lacruz race to find Roxana whose blood is the key to unlock an ancient evil that once ruled Spain from the shadows.
