ISIS: Our Children at Risk is a lesson learned by way of a novel. ISIS, the novel portrays the true-to-life exploits of ISIS zealots who submit to a seventh-century Islamic sect that many Muslim scholars regard as a cult.

This book examines the frightening use of social media and propaganda to recruit young people of all nationalities, ethnicity, and socioeconomic strata into the ISIS cult, or to become undercover operatives.

ISIS: Our Children at Risk, uses the stories of Fatima Baloch, a young woman of British citizenship, who is recruited into MI6 (British Military Intelligence) to become a field agent in the ISIS capital city of Raqqa, Syria. Fraught with tragic complications and danger, she meets a young CIA operative, Buraq, who is a fourth-generation US citizen, born of Jordanian-American parents. Through circumstances beyond their control, each must survive in the midst of the dangerous and destructive Syrian conflict. Buraq and Fatima witness unspeakable ISIS atrocities as they gather information about this devastating cult.

This novel is their story, told alongside the stories of other Syrian operatives and ISIS recruits.
