Each hanging death is ruled a suicide, but a small group of citizens begin to wonder if that’s accurate. In a race against time, they set out to uncover the truth about the deaths of their loved ones, and save the lives of those they care about - and their own - in the process.

Egomaniac has all the charm of a bizarre, foggy walk through Twin Peaks and the psycho-thriller charm of Gone Girl, with creative twists all its own. I was enthralled from page one by quirky characters with sinister, phobia-centric hang-ups, and stayed that way until the satisfying finish.
