Aliens and nukes, eccentrics and reclusive millionaires, gangsters, ghost towns and ghosts, dragons, a 30-foot tall Preying Mantis, highways where nobody goes, water goblins, and the Toilet Paper Man. Nevada’s oddest oddities are recounted in whimsical descriptions and distinctive hand illustrations by the author, a longtime Nevada resident who has traveled the remote corners of the State and is otherwise known for his abstract paintings.
