The Match: Jack vs. School

This is the story of a good boy who didn’t like school. He considered it useless and intrusive in his life. To him, the value of school and the 3R’s of reading,
writing, and ‘rithmetic were fuzzy, at best. His definition of school would trade those R’s for T’s that would include Traumatic and Terrible. Eventually, Terrific filled out the list to 3. The strong bond between he and his Grammy helped him see that school is full of craziness worth experiencing, humor worth enjoying, and lessons worth learning as they wrote this book together. It’s a fun journey through 2nd semester, 3rd grade, that changed Jack’s perspective and allowed him to love school. The Match between opponents became The Match of a positive partnership between Jack and School.
