Five Generations: Stories From My Father

These stories were told father-to-son for five generations, and counting. They are stories of strength and personal conviction. They are stories of card cheating and loosing army jeeps in poker games. They are stories of good men who chose to stand and protect others when they could have hidden and sought safety. The one connecting factor is that they all teach a lesson about how to be an honorable man. The urge to help others and to do our duty is strong in my family. Some people run into burning houses to save others. Some watch in horror as bad things happen. This is a compilation of stories of a family that has stood up when called upon, whatever the situation required.
