Three Little Birds: Reach for the Stars

Three little birds see a bright light moving quickly across a starry night time sky. This is the story of how curiosity takes our three feathered friends on a quest to design and build a spaceship to boldly go where no birds have flown before. Children will be delighted by the adorable illustrations, and the story will teach teamwork, cooperation, and the joy of adventure and space exploration. This book was written by a team of students who attend Buchanan High School in Clovis, California. They belong to FIRST® Robotics Competition Team 1671, known as The Buchanan Bird Brains. Every year they strive to build robots for competition with other high school teams from all over the world. They also seek to inspire interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
