A self-published, newsprint Pterodactyl Hunters earned Leach a prestigious Xeric Grant in 2010. It was included Best American Comics 2011, and won the Small Press Expo’s Ignatz Award for Outstanding Comic in 2012.

Since then, Leach has published the graphic novel, Iron Bound, counted on Print magazine’s best books of 2013. His illustrations have appeared in print in the New York Times, Time Out New York, Time Out New York Kids and the L Magazine, online at moleskine.com and xbox.com, and on ESPN’s Sportscenter.
