As we age, there should be at least one person in our life who cares about our well-being. The author chose to be that person for many of the seniors in Sikeston, Missouri. This book is written in two parts. The first part is the journal of L.V. Montjoy, a man who lived to be 94 years young. He was the author’s grandpa and she promised him that she would publish his words exactly the way he penned them. The second part chronicles a few of the adventures of a group of senior citizens of whom L.V. was an important member. You will find yourself laughing out loud when you read about the trips and the antics of these fun-loving seniors! Seniors deserve recognition and honor for the remarkable lives they’ve lived, the struggles they’ve overcome, and the raising and teaching they have provided.
