The Hebrew Calendar Reading Guide 2017/2018 gives Scripture weekly from the Holy Bible. Each week for one year scripture is listed from the Tanakh, which is the Torah, Prophets and writings. The Guide list corresponding readings from the New Testament. It also includes commentary to help with understanding each week. The Guide gives a summary of what we learn each month in scripture from the Hebrew Calendar. This is a special Reading Guide because this is the 70th year since Isra'el became a Nation. It is also special since the date is repeated on the calendar when slaves in America were freed by the 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution. There are some Hebrew words in the Guide but there is a Glossary which allows the reader to read with ease. The Hebrew foundation of the Holy Bible gives us teaching and instruction for life.
