Detective Jeremiah Walker’s estranged wife, Ruth, is in serious trouble after her lover is found shot in the Necropolis cemetery. Knowing she will be held to account and could face the gallows, Ruth returns to the marital home she had abandoned to beg for her husband’s assistance.
