Argyle’s Bequest

‘Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.’ That piece of wisdom resonates in David Drew’s mind as he finds himself embroiled in the midst of a family of greedy siblings and grandchildren. At a time when the family should be united, grieving the loss of a father and grandfather, they squabble and fight over his legacy. Why is Drew there? What has he to do with any of this?

These questions bombard the reluctant private investigator as he ferrets his way through a maze of spoiled, narcissistic brats who couldn’t care less about their dead relative. All they want is their share of his estate; an estate worth hundreds of millions. An estate Budge Argyle, the wealthiest man in the city, has bequeathed to Drew.
