The Mender

The end of the world came in waves… So begins the story of The Mender. 75,000 years ago, cataclysmic events reduced the human race to mere hundreds of cave people, those who would shape the destiny of humankind and the nature of life today. Ersi, a current-day Toronto teenager, becomes aware that she is living in and moving between both times. Why is this happening? And why to her? As Esri’s parallel lives unfold at Flat Rocks and in Toronto, she is confronted and challenged by unusual friends and evil beings. She gradually discovers the mission for which she was chosen - and the stunning implications for the human race.
