He’s a Musician, not a WarriorAfter enduring a brutal childhood, Bryar wants nothing more than to wander the byways, carrying entertainment and news to the hamlets of the Midland. Like all Weavers, the Healers, Bards, and Scribes who draw on the planetary Aura to augment their abilities, he relies on its beneficent presence to record his stories and songs, and to enhance his performances.

When a power cell from an alien spacecraft threatens the Aura, a prophesy names Bryar as the one destined to reclaim it from enemy hands before its energy can be used to dominate his land. With the future of their peaceful, agrarian life in his hands, he reluctantly turns his back on music to hone his fighting skills.

His quest will take him into the heart of danger - and may cost him the very things that make his life worth living.
