Coal Hard Habitat is a poignant and introspective, three-part journal that charts the travails and triumphs of Will Gethyn’s journey from boyhood to manhood, from ignominy to fame, from life to death. Based on both fictitious and real events and people who lived between the 1830s - 1840s in the UK to the 1850s to early 1900s in Australia, through Gethyn’s life, we are invited to examine the human experience in our brightest and darkest hours.
