No Indication of Splinters

Because I am a product of the Amazing Fifties, my main goal has been to remain splinter-free and smooth of mind. The desire to keep life simple and strong is what has led me to publish my first anthology of poems. In life there are wonderful and memorable events, but also dark and empty interludes. Being able to write about this journey has been like a healing balm; soothing and comforting, keeping all scar tissue from forming, my thoughts and emotions remaining soft, my limbs stretching high - all the while remaining untouched by life’s splinters. Each poem represents various stages of growth - searching, learning and loving, every step of the way. My name is Jennifer Coffison.
