Fiddle and Dee and the Bedtime Band Fiddle and Dee are two brother bunnies with HUGE imaginations. They believe that anything is an adventure if they just make it so. Sometimes their imaginations get them into trouble, or cause them to become worrisome. Together, the two brothers can conquer their fears, meet new friends, and embark on new adventures throughout their forest home and beyond. Fiddle and Dee and the Bedtime Band is about hearing the noises of the night and being frightened by them, only to discover they really aren’t that bad at all. That the noises can actually be soothing, and can bring on peaceful sleep and nice dreams. This book is Book 1 in The Adventures of Fiddle and Dee series, so stay tuned for more bunny fun! About the Series The Adventures of Fiddle and Dee The Adventures of Fiddle and Dee series came about as a result of bedtime stories I would orally tell to my son, Colson, each night. I would reflect about how our day went, what his thoughts, feelings, and fears were at the time, or I would think about things in the future that I wanted him to be prepared for. These stories were written through asking questions both on his part and on mine. They were built gradually through us talking, weaving, winding, and laughing our way through problems or situations together. The joy we felt each time Fiddle and Dee faced a new fear, or made a silly assumption, or thumped their feet in frustration only to realize they could communicate in other ways, was incredible. I hope that the joy that these stories brought us has come to life on the page for you and your children to enjoy as well. We still write many Fiddle and Dee stories each night. Some are just silly, some are long-winded, and naturally, some are blurry because we are far too tired to even be making stories, so we just laugh. I hope that some of that magic is kept in the pages when I wrote them down. I wondered how it would be to put them on paper, but I trust that you and your kids will find ways to dance, hop, sing, and weave your way through Fiddle and Dee’s forest just as we did.
