I could not talk about the struggles we were facing, but I desperately needed an outlet for the tensions which were building inside me, so I started to write them down. I always hoped that one day that my experiences may bring comfort and encouragement to others who find themselves in similar situations, and having to fight the same battles for the ones they love. So, this is how this book came about. I am trying to raise enough money to provide a unit for young people who are suffering the effects of traumatic brain injury. These people are unable to shout for themselves, and so often, they have no-one else to shout for them. Anyone who has suffered a brain injury is vulnerable, and needs the right sort of backup. Their loved ones and carers need to know that there is help within reach - locally. This is how you can help make this a reality. Buy this book and my first one ‘Petals of Laughter’ and your money will go towards this much needed unit, so that everyone who is suffering in this way can receive the help, encouragement and support they so desperately need in order to live their lives independently and with as much fulfilment as they can.
