Defibrillator Dollybird, documents the adventures of Jack, a handsome young Building Contractors’ Foreman The novel opens circa 1979 spanning the years from his early ‘twenties’ to his ‘fifties’; a record of his development from a beer swilling, twenty two year old, absent parent, frequenting local pubs with his friends and workmates, into a polished, dinner suited sommelier, attending lavish dinner parties in London and throughout the world. However, one anomaly in his life is constant throughout, women; they literally throw themselves at him. When a onetime school mate invites Jack to become ad hoc bodyguard to a well known singer of a successful local Band, their relationship develops and they become good friends. Jack is now introduced to the musical world of the rich and famous. Moving into his fifties not only does his hedonistic, champagne lifestyle suddenly catch up with him but then he meets the woman of his dreams. However, this woman is very different to his past conquests! Will the woman Jack feels he truly loves, not just wants, return his affection?
