Terminal Chancer is an engaging, humorous story of a middle aged man desperate for escape. He juggles family, work, socio economics and the relentless daily grind. He strives for moments of freedom to pursue his passion of fishing for Atlantic Salmon. Along with an enigmatic cast list of poets and pugilists schemes are hatched, plans are executed for the annual chase for fish, pleasure and space to think in an ever changing world that the Terminal Chancer feels he must outrun. He is a man sweating middle age, firmly looking down the barrel of another grim twenty years at the cracker factory while desperately trying to tip his work life balance narrowly in his favour. His wild ride flows through the season and offers not just a snap shot into this unseen world of chaos, insanity and obsession but also shows us all something of ourselves as we all strive to follow our passions.
