The Specials

The Specials is a murder mystery set in 2012. An old man is found dead in his home and DCI Revie and DS Jackson face the task of discovering who murdered him. At first, it appears that there is no reason the quiet widower should have been killed. But the investigation soon reveals that the gentle old man had been a long term and particularly deviant paedophile. As the story unfolds throughout the year and the body count rises, the police discover more people who have been living an apparently normal life while successfully hiding their past.The lives of all the people involved can never be the same again. The Specials reaches its dramatic conclusion in Snowdonia.
