The Legend and the Lie

The city of Kh lm now lies desolate, its wealth and splendour forever lost. No sword, no shield, no surge of courage could withstand the blow, for the armies of Moronia poured in like a flood. Few remain who remember that day; Kh lm is now a villain’s lair, home to warlords, misplaced souls and forgotten creatures. Lord Grimmon had long awaited this hour, his cruel reach pierces further and further into the world of the free. But, life has an edge that will not fade, one that darkness cannot dispel. From the ashes a handful of survivors arise. One of them is Riola, a runaway slave girl, wily and shrewd. Another is Cole, once a son of wealth and comfort, now an unlikely warrior in the making. Together they must discover Father Bru ll, ruler of a mysterious realm and the only one who can save them. As the quest comes to rest on Cole’s shoulders, a question arises. Will he fall to the crippling lies of the evil lord, or will he rise in the courage of his true identity, and so lead the journey to Father Bru ll?
