New York Hustle - Pool Rooms, School Rooms and Street Corners

Go back in time with Stan Maron as he recounts his troubled childhood in a New Jersey beach town, his mother’s mysterious death, and his placement in a Brooklyn foster home at the age of ten. Unwanted and unruly, young Stanley learns to fight, gamble, drink and play pool. He drops out of school and supports himself by waiting tables, delivering racks of clothing, loading bricks at demolition sites, and peddling on the streets of New York. Haunted by the memory of his mother’s death, Stanley tries to bury the past. But the past cannot be ignored, as he learns in his long journey of self-discovery and renewal.
