In an environment where young men appear inescapably destined to fail, it is only natural for Christopher Harris’s mother to have reservations regarding her son’s impending departure. As the recent college graduate prepares to relocate to New York to pursue a career, his mother offers three conditions for which he must adhere: Chris promises that he’ll find a church home, fall in love and marry a woman who is also inside the four walls of a church, and one day have children. Agreeing to these conditions, Chris prepares to imprint both of his feet in the big city. Wasting no time at all, it seems that Chris is making great strides in regard to his mother’s requests: he’s joined a church, landed a job matching his career path, and even has his eyes set on a woman who stands tall and elegant in the front row of the sanctuary. With an air of disbelief initially, Chris finally realizes that his life is actually close to being perfect with the exception of finding love… That is until he finds Mackenzie. With an undeniable chemistry, it is no surprise that Chris is anxious to introduce his parents to the woman who could be the love of his life. Accepting the invitation, Mackenzie enters the Harris household, hand in hand with her boyfriend Chris and so begins the unraveling of what was the perfect life of Christopher Harris. His faith in God is tested, his relationship with his parents is damaged, his time with Mackenzie is put into question, and the air that he breathes stands a fine line between heaven and earth - all at the hands of a lie that was overlooked by the human eye.
