Being confident in Christ comes as we grow in a relationship with the Father. In this study, we will dig into the life of Rebekah to find a confident woman, full of God’s love, strong in her faith and obedient to all that He told her to do. The purpose of this study is to help us grow more confident in our relationship with God. Each chapter of this book will reveal a different point that can strengthen our confidence as Christian women to live for Him at all costs. We will learn how we can become a camel waterer, walking more in the spirit and less in the flesh. We can learn to instill confidence in our children as we teach them to love the Lord. As our relationship with Him grows, then our confidence to hear Him will also grow. Rebekah went to the Lord, and believed when He spoke. This shows us how we can not only go to God, but also believe Him. Also shows how to patiently wait on the Lord no matter how long it takes for the results to manifest. Rebekah fulfilled the words of the Lord in her part of the relationship. Everything God said was fulfilled; God did His part, Rebekah did her part and her life was successful for God. Her life wasn’t perfect at all, there were things that she didn’t like around her, situations that were difficult to endure, and people that made her life miserable, but her life was a success. She endured through the trials of her life and applied wisdom in making her decisions. Here we will learn how to obtain wisdom from our experiences in life and the knowledge we receive. Wisdom is the application of knowledge and it will help us endure to the end. A wise woman learns from the trials of her life, she retains teachings, and applies them in later situations to help her make better decisions. Our life is guided by our choices and decisions we make for ourselves. We can choose to follow God or our own emotions. We can make decisions based on God’s word or based on how we feel. It is important, as Christian women, that we find confidence to live for God and endure to the end. God gave us His written word along with the Holy Spirit to guide us in our life. He gave us stories like Rebekah and the Proverbs 31 Woman as examples for us to follow. Rebekah resembled the Proverbs 31 Woman and we can too when we understand what it truly means to be her. To be a woman that fears the Lord, that is kind, loving, content, giving, respectful, confident, and wise with the heart of a servant. With all these points of confidence we find a well-rounded woman that will teach us much about how we can be all that God has created us to be without losing our identity, our independence, or our integrity and to rise up being strong, wise, and confident women for God.
