The Holy Bible, which is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, was under attack for many centuries now. The very first attack by Satan on the Word of God was when he came in the form of serpent and asked Eve a cunning question saying Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Satan has been raising questions in the minds of innocent people from that day onward until this day and will continue to ask such questions till the end of the world. This book deals with how God’s inspired Word came to us in written form. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high (Hebrews 1:1-3) If someone points to the fact that there are no originals now, and what we have are copies of copies, then Hebrews 1:1-3 should tell us that if God’s Word which He spoke to the prophets was written down, and that which was transmitted from Him to the subsequent writers chosen by Him was true and believable, then the scribes who collected fragments, vellum or parchments, or papyri and worked them diligently for many years putting together should be believed. Even though there were errors in compiling the text from the fragments into Codices, and then to the Printable Bible that we have today, the central theme that God is love and He sent His only Son into this world that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, never changed.
