These Are The Days

What would happen if you wrote to someone you didn’t know every day for 100 days? Would it be creepy? Would you feel closer to that person? Are there things you can tell a stranger that you wouldn’t tell anyone else? These Are The Days is an intimate novella between a Brooklyn writer and an interesting stranger. Excerpt: There is this tree that I walk past that has all these old cobblestones stuck in its trunk. They’re lifted right off the ground and just stuck in there for good. People have this type of thing too. Sometimes there’s some cobble stones in our way - a strange force that we can’t see but we can feel. Maybe it hurts, but if we’re calm and determined, we’ll find a way to keep growing. Sometimes the wiser and more interesting trees are the ones with metal sticking in them. They’ve really been tested and they know themselves a little better.
