The book presents a structured approach developed as the Acceptable Behaviors Choices system in a professional residential child care agency. The purpose of the ABC system is to train parenting supervisors in how to train children to survive in the world in which they live. In addition, the process trains children to become independent adults by learning to make good decision choices. The finished product will be a child becoming an adult equipped with a built-in framework of effective decisions based on proven virtues and values. This book does not propose the content of character, but rather on how character develops.
