When Robbie was nine years-old, in the year 1960, he wrote a letter and mailed it. The Post Office never delivered it. Fifty-seven years later, the United States Post Office delivers Robbie’s belated letter by dropping it from a United States Air Force weather plane at the North Pole.

Creasy the elf retrieves Robbie’s letter addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole. Giving the special air mail delivery letter to Santa; Santa delivers to sixty-one year old Robert, on Christmas Eve, exactly what he asked for when he was nine years-old. Robert is physically too large to enjoy the Christmas presents he always wanted but his adopted three young children, Nicholas, Barry, and Kara, are just the right size.
