Why I Believe What I Believe: The Foundations of Our Christian Faith

Christians today are besieged by false teachings from every quarter. Many are simply not prepared to defend their faith, their lifestyle, or their calling. Early believers relied on memorizing creeds to help them to recall the bedrock upon which their beliefs rested. Today’s Christians, even though blessed with the Biblical text and many other tools, still need to get back to understanding the basics in order to be strong in their faith. Throughout these pages, believers can come to understand more about the pivotal concepts of their faith. This should help them in building a stronger confession, a more faithful life, and a resistance to false teachings.
