STORYLETS are beginnings of ideas, infants whose growth can result in short stories, novels, etc. Ideas come from everywhere-nothing new, just different uses and approaches. Some of these were born in brainstorming sessions in monthly writers’ groups. Others were created to serve as models for point of view, character development, use of dialog, and other aspects of good writing. Obviously, each is intended to begin a longer work in the same style and with components already in place.
