BORN in the ghettos of Buffalo, New York to Italian Parents he could very well have chosen a life of crime, even become a Mafia Soldier (as some of his relatives and school gang chose to be). Due to the encouragement and inspiration of his Dad and Mom, he became a self-taught piano player, composer and music arranger for Big Bands . He served his country in WWII, worked his way through college, Medical and Dental Schools. He became a renowned Maxillofacial Surgeon and founded his own Dental Hospital in Buffalo. As a boy, inspired by watching his Dad, he had developed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. This inspired him to become a Scientist, an Inventor, Explorer, Real Estate Develope/Investor, a Horserace Owner, a Corporate Executive and Entrepreneur. A true Patriot and Humanitarian, at the age of Seventy-one, he was knighted by Pope John II into the Knights of Malta, Order of Saint John of Jerusalem in recognition of his countless humanitarian works. Now he adds the title Author . DR. JOSEPH P.
