Little Snoogie was a cat. She lived until she was 15 ½ years old. Little Snoogie lived with another cat, Catbaby, and their person, Peggy. Little Snoogie didn’t feel well for a lot of her life. Then she met Drs. Worwag and Goodwin and they helped her feel better. But when she got really sick, they all refused to let her suffer. It was such a terrible loss for everyone except for Catbaby, who didn’t miss Little Snoogie AT ALL. So many people understood and said kind words. It was so heartwarming and comforting. Peggy began to do things to comfort herself and hold her memories of Little Snoogie. Little Snoogie’s spirit will live on forever. We can learn a lot from Little Snoogie. The three of us wrote this book, with beautiful illustrations by designer Tim Mullen, to comfort other adults when they lose a pet.
