Footprint in the Mud is a poetry book that explores the beauty of life. Expression of Love, Struggle, Hope, Inspiration, Freedom, and Triumph all submerged into a brilliant collection of poems. It symbolizes perseverance, emphasizing that no matter what you go through, if you stay strong and keep faith, you can overcome any obstacle. "Purple Blood, I was labeled a thug; I rained on their dirt and left footprint in the mud." A metaphor for what's done in the dark comes to the light echoing the healing process of injustice. Seizing opportunities and making the best of what I had drives my passion to make something out of nothing. Every step in life's journey were experiences necessary for me to become who I am, though some steps left a stain eventually the muddy trail ends; marking the transition of a new chance.
