Mikal’s brother Tom has disappeared and presumed dead. Mikal finds out that his brother has been captured and is held in the dark land called Mephistom. Mephistom was once part of the beautiful land of Ephemeral on the planet world called Mythalenia. Mikal is transported to Ephemeral and begins his journey to rescue his brother. Along the way he finds out he has a strange power that is both wonderous and difficult to control. Mikal finds out he is not human but instead is the last of the race of people called the Myth. Unfortunately when Tom is rescued an ancient curse has been lifted that has now allowed Virmyre the ruler of Mephistom to invade Ephemeral.
