Embracing Hope in the Midst of Stormy Times

For most of my life, I was always taught that love is the most important thing of all to embrace, and even though it is truly important to feel and to experience, I have come to see that hope is really what keeps us anchored through all the storms of this life. It would be nice if life was full of one success right after the other, but the truth is that the hard times are what truly helps us become stronger when it seems all the odds of life are against us.If there is one word that has become the heart and soul of who I truly am, it is the word struggle as it is through my own struggles I have truly learned what survival in the midst of the storm is all about. When I think about struggle, in fact, I always think about hope as well because they both are connected as when we struggle we strive to find the hope for better days and a better life. So many people want to reach the good things in life, but what I have realized, and what so many others come to see as well, is that we often have to endure some difficult battles in order to appreciate all the many beautiful gifts God has in store for us.In this book, Embracing Hope in the Midst of Stormy Times, my desire is that every commentary and poetic piece uplifts your heart and soul to help you understand that suffering leads to a new way of life for all of us. I believe everything happens for a reason, and even when many things happen that I do not understand, I have learned to just keep my hopes held high and know eventually everything has a way of working out for the best.
