The Adventures of Jason and Bo: It’s good to be different

The Adventures of Jason and Bo is a heartwarming story set in a small rural Alaskan logging town. The boy enjoys his life and has a great relationship with a wonderful friend named Bo. Through the story, the reader is taught not only about Alaskan life but is transported into a tale of human struggles and adventure as they set off into an early winter blizzard to find a lost girl. This book contains lessons in trapping, life in remote southeast Alaska, and how to deal with prejudice and fear. Throughout it all Jason grows and learns as he strives to find the young woman and his place in the world while dealing with being different.
