This book, developed for patients by Dr. Samuel Marynick and Dr. Juan Correa-Perez of the Texas Center for Reproductive Health, is a personal invitation inside the assisted reproductive technology (ART) process. Through step-by-step descriptions of each phase of ART, from a couple’s first meeting with a center professional through the treatment review, the book explains what will happen, when, and why. Also included are a discussion of coping with stress, lists of resources, and a glossary of terms.
