Five years after Rodney fell to his death in a fraternity initiation ceremony, his friend Max Hardy reveals to Rodney’s father the true details of what occurred on that fateful night. The boy’s father blames generations of Mu Lambda Nu’s for perpetuating the irresponsible traditions that killed his son. He vows not to rest until he eliminates the fifty-five surviving members of his son’s fraternity lineage.

He plans the various killings in a variety of ways. Some are even made to look like accidents. Police throughout the country are trying to solve these various homicides with little to go on.

In Newark, a love triangle threatens the careers of three United States Marshals investigating the shooting death of a federal judge, while in New York City a stabbing at a trendy nightclub introduces a young police detective to a sexy provocateur. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, an attractive female detective is stumped by the murder of a prominent surgeon while struggling with feelings of unrequited love for her retired ex-partner. Even Rodney’s father meets a special woman who serves to both empower and distract him as he moves forward in his quest for revenge.

Their lives intertwine in a tense thriller where love and murder share equal billing.
